I agree with that looking at it in hindsight.. but the way that I remember it
we got the ESPN deal quickly and that nice big scheduling agreement with ND. And the Big 12 looked like we were jumping on a sinking ship (like the Big East). I wish Texas and co. bolted for the Pac. The new MWC would have been sweet and instantly a nice rival conference with the Pac.
