Because of the schedule? The football program itself, minus the schedule, appears to be back tracking faster then it was while in the MWC. Future schedules are nice to have I guess... but if you don't have a solidified team to compete against them... what's the point?
The program appears to be falling to pieces... and while it's nice to be recognized by the ACC and SEC... at the end of the day, it really doesn't mean a whole lot. All that matters is what happens on the field... and right now we are laying some pretty big turds.
Here is an idea... when you have to look for anything other than on the field results as a means to boost your program, you are in bad shape.
