So after first talking to my boss four weeks ago about it, my boss today gave me permission to move and work from Utah. At the same time she warned me that it may limit my opportunities and the kind of projects that I get to work on and that if I can not be as effective then she would have to reconsider at the end of the year.

I have been waiting to get the thumbs up for a while, but now that I know I do not feel that relieved. Sure I can go, but it feels like she will hang it over my head and potentially limit me. Might be time to move on.
