Don't get me wrong, the money is nice. Just that BYU does not have the facilities debts that other schools have. BYU carries zero debt on any build project. Pretty much every P5 school is entering into huge build projects--which are nice--but leveraging them against future revenues. BYU does not do that.

Just look at Cal and their stadium disaster and how fundraising isn't covering it at other schools. And look at what Utah wants to do, but can't yet due to financial constraints due to facility upgrades they need to make. They won't consider expanding RES until those others get done. Utah is trying to keep up to things BYU pretty much already has.
