The thing is the A's series came on the heel of losing their RF Alex Rios for two months because he got hit on the wrist by a ball. Follow that up with the Alcides Escobar getting taken out on a very controversial play by Lawrie and there are honestly people questioning the anger coming from KC?

The lost two starters within 4 days (this after already getting hit a bunch) and the first time they react (hitting Lawrie) everyone wants to go after them? Lawrie got hit, took his base and that should have been the end of it. That Kasmir hit Cain may have just been unfortunate timing for all and I won't make an opinion on the Herrera pitch as I didn't see the game and don't know what happened.

Do you all think Royals players haven't been in their pitcher's ears saying "hey guys when are you gonna have our backs"? It wouldn't surprise me.
