That guy was so biased he even claimed that Escobar started the next day...
Escobar missed the following two games against the A's. The idiot writer was then tried to compare a Moustakis slide to Lawrie slide with a picture that disproved his point. There were other biases that I don't need to get into.

It comes down to this: If somebody plays dirty and it results in injuring a player, a retaliation pitch is expected. After injuring Escobar, Lawrie started verba; sparing showing his thuggish side. It would have ended there if he had been a man about it.

The Royals retaliated and paid the price. It's baseball. But it also motivated them to beat the A's two out of three.
