I think early missions will hurt the football program
even Bronco has said that he would rather they come play for a year and then leave
Guys go straight on a mission and come back in June or July. They do not have time to get in shape so they basically waste a year of eligibility or they redshirt and you all of the sudden have more guys staying for 5 years, something Bronco also said he wants to get away from.
The early mission age helps basketball because they get back and have enough time to get in shape and can play for four straight years.....not the case for football.
