In any case, I will say again it is great to be excited as a fan. I think there is great reason to be optimistic and hopeful for the coming season and wish for the best. That is part of what being a fan is all about.

I hope for the best for next season and hope that they can win every game. Realistically, I expect BYU to win 7-8 regular season games and win the bowl game for a 8-9 win season. If this team was back in the MWC, I think they win 10-11 games. They are not. I'm trying to maintain my hope and optimism while at the same time manage my expectations realistically. Could BYU win 10 games next year? Possibly, but probably not likely. That doesn't mean I can't be excited and hope for the best.

8 wins next season will be a great season. I'm sticking with it, no matter how good summer workout 7-7s, heisman hype or fall camp goes. But I still think each individual game is winnable. It is what it is.
