If we're comparing one year to one year, then yes, I think we can all agree that 2015 has an extremely high likelihood of being better than 2010, otherwise known as our worst season from 2006 to 2014. You aren't saying very much with that, and that's a really low bar to set.
I left Mathews out for a reason; he is our one proven guy and will be gone after next season. We have a lot of guys - Kurtz, Juergens, Pearson, Davis, Weeks, MLP, etc. - who it could be really easy to get really excited about for 2016 and beyond. But we had the same stockpile of guys to be really excited about in 2010 - Jacobsen, Chambers, Hafoka, Hoffman, Apo, and Thompson, plus what we thought would be four star TE - Holt, Marcus Mathews, Mahina, and Wilson. And the production they generated as a group didn't come anywhere close to matching the level of excitement they generated beforehand. There's no good reason to expect that our current group will do any better; they aren't more hyped, better recruited, or more physically talented as a whole.
