Let's compare stats from top 4 WR's in 2009-2010 and 2014-2015
Player-Receptions-Yds-YPC-TD
2009-2010:
Jacobsen-23/ 556/ 24.2/ 4
Ashworth-28/ 387/ 13.8/ 4
Chambers-32/ 376/ 11.8/ 1
Hafoka-16/ 155/ 9.7/ 1
*Combined Yds/TD= 1,474/ 10

2014-2015
Matthews-73/ 922/ 12.6/ 9
Juergens-28/ 424/ 15.1/ 4
Pearson-16/ 270/ 16.9/ 3 (Playing only half the year)
Houk-21/ 241/ 11.5/ 2
*Combined Yds/TD= 1,857/ 18

So based off of both of these groups' past production going into 2010 vs. going into 2015, I believe we have more reason for excitement for the 2015 group. Now 2010 did have Hoffman come in, but again he was unknown before that year, so we shouldn't include him since he was all hype at that point.

Comparably Kurtz has a great chance to make a 1st year Hoffman-like impact in 2015, and I'm excited to see what he can do as he was set to start over Leslie in fall camp before he was injured.
