I can believe all of that
However, the sense of superiority definitely goes both ways. My mission president and somehow the majority of my companions are all living in or near cache valley. I've gone to dinner with them and their Cache Valley spouses and they all love to ask how I can stand living in Provostan and tell me how much more normal and cool they are in Cache Valley. They tell me about how they gag at the thought of interacting with people from Provo and how they wouldn't stop in Provo if their life depended on it.

Isn't that also a sense of superiority? At least that's what I asked them at dinner. Yikes! i was lucky to leave with my head attached.

Ultimately, BYU, Utah, and USU fans are all the same. We just all like to think we're somehow different
