Let me spell it out for you: yes, I rarely cheer for BYU, because my fellow church members become insufferable when BYU is good. I am currently in a bishopric, I volunteer to help people move, I help at Scout camps, I clean my church building on Saturdays, I pay my tithing, I speak in church fairly often, I visit ward members in hospitals, etc. And guess what? When BYU beats Utah State and/or wins a big game, I hear crap about it from guys like you. And because I have the audacity to pull for my school, guys like you say things like, "I'm sad for you," and "You should reevaluate your priorities as a member of the church." If BYU football (and BYU in general) creates church members like you and attitudes like yours, I hope it all goes down in a blaze of glory.
