IMO, the point here isn't that Mendenhall is
better than Edwards. He's not. Edwards was a hall of fame coach that was one of the best in college football.
The issue, IMO, is how the segment of BYU fans who think Mendenhall is a horrible coach can explain how a guy they don't think is any smarter than the village idiot can possibly have a record similar to one of the best coaches ever.
