The Big 12 has virtually no chance of surviving if the P5 goes to 4 conferences.
It's last chance was to get Notre Dame on board, but when Notre Dame went to the ACC, it pretty much killed the Big 12's chances of outlasting the ACC.
The best it can hope for is to 'merge' with one of the other conferences or hope that the P5 situation lasts forever.
