I don't think you can argue that at all. C'mon. She presented no threat to him
She was drunk, and her version of a punch was more like a shove ... "go away!". And he winds up and socks her like Mike Tyson.
There is most definitely a difference between the two. It most certainly was not self defense. If he was worried about getting hurt he could have just continued to hold her arms down or just walked away. She presented no threat to him.
