What's wrong with BYU fans?
BYU picks up a commitment from a very solid transfer (a freshman of the year in a solid D-1 basketball league, with good size and athleticism, and averaged 14+ points per game) and the comments below the linked article are what we have to say about it?

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865633415/Guard-Elijah-Bryant-announces-he-is-transferring-to-BYU.html

"Nice, but I'd rather have Garrett Bolles."

and

"Great, another guard. I think that makes like 20. It would be nice to have a skilled big man."

The first comment wreaks of bitterness, and makes no sense. FAIL. What a ridiculous thing to say about a new addition to the cougar family.

The second comment is just stupid. First, Bryant is exactly what we need. Having a guy with significant D-1 experience ready to step in as we lose Collinsworth and Fisher to graduation is huge. Moreover, we won't have that many guards on the roster going forward. We already lost Haws, Winder, Halford and Bartley from this year's squad. Next year we lose Collinsworth and Fisher. We will need some help at guard going forward. Next year (2016-17) we'll have Nick Emory, Jordan Chatman, Jake Toolson, T.J. Haws, and Jordan Ellis (am I missing anybody) to man the guard spots. That's a talented group, but we will need somebody like Bryant to contribute significant minutes as a starter or as the first man off the bench.

Second, BYU's roster WILL have a number of skilled big men in the next few years. Davis is incredibly "skilled", and Corbin is becoming a "skilled" big man as well. Mika and Dastrup are both very "skilled".

Sometimes I'm embarrassed by our fans.
