Yes, he was a sought-after transfer, and yes he did score 14.2 points as a freshman, but he also shot 38.2 percent from the field and 34.9% from three. More glaringly, he averaged 2.7 assists and 3.5 turnovers per game - a horrible ratio even for a freshman PG.
But here's to hoping Bryant can grow into the passer and shooter we'll need him to be. My prediction is that he'll struggle (as will Calvert) to find time behind Emery, Haws, and Chatman.
