How do you know it won't happen?

what if they decide that they want BYU, but Houston would be okay as well. They have issues thinking that BYU is hard to deal with. So then when we get invited to a P5 conference, something that should make our fans (and would make me) jump up and down with delight, we say "we'll get back with you." I could see them saying, "well, nevermind."

how horrible would that be if we KNEW we had an invite, and we tried to see if there was something better out there, and then we lost the invite?
