It's all speculation, but adding teams that are strong to replace a very strong
and extremely week team that left could have bolstered the Big 12 sending the SEC and B1G after the ACC. Remember how week the ACC was before they joined up with ND. The truth is we don't know what would have happened, but adding strong teams immediately wouldn't have hurt the Big12. Even a yewt can admit that.
