They don't "need" 12 for football either, either, once the CCG is deregulated
If they choose to go to 12, it will be because for once they've decided to get be proactive rather than reactive. And if that is their primary motivator, I don't seem them adding 2 extra schools for football-only, unless it is part of a larger expansion process.
I'm not saying it's likely to happen (I don't think any of this expansion talk is likely to happen any time soon). I wish it would though:)
