Here are some things that helped me: low expectations; disassociate wins from the success of BYU as a whole, the church, or eternal happiness; think of the players as 20 year old punks you would never want to hang out with; find something else in life that gets you excited and doesn't let you down so much; don't make the game the only plan for your weekend; do something physical right after the loss.
