And you correctly point out that last years' defense was atrocious. There's nothing wrong with saying that. I think BarraCoug's point is that the piling on and the "echochamber" gets to the point that it's not criticism anymore, but more like some weird type of cyber bullying of a third person.

I hate the argument that other fan bases do it on their message boards. Who cares what they do? I wouldn't like it if I was a fan of whatever team they root for.
