ooh...nice extreme, as opposed to those who think it's better than the Lavell...
...era or that Bronco's a better coach than Lavell. Two can play that game. I can honestly say I can't remember ever reading a post by anyone where they claimed the program is now worse than it's ever been. Going back to the 30's,40's, 50's etc there was a lot of losing going on. We also had some bad seasons in the Crowton era.

CarolinaCoug is maybe the most ardent in his extremism about not liking Bronco. Most other criticisms I have read (and have posted on) focus on things like Bronco's stated feelings that 8 wins and losing a bowl game is a successful season, continued pattern of questionable/poor assistant coaching hires/promotions, the bromance with Riley Nelson and how it hurt the team in 2012, his inability since 2010 to hit his own stated goals for the program (win 10+, finish ranked and win the bowl game), his getting dominated by in-state rivals, questionable decision making in crunch time situations, questionable personnel decisions, his awkwardness with the media, his inability to recruit and develop quality QB depth out of high school from year to year (maybe that's about to change?), poor management of the kicking game, etc.

i think the majority fall somewhere in the middle between the Bronco Cult Worshippers and CarolinaCoug. The program has been just okay and they feel like it should be doing a lot better than it has and with better leadership they would be. The speed of the leader determines the rate of the pack. 10 yrs in Bronco has settled into what he is, an 8 win coach playing largely mediocre schedules. Many of us aren't happy with just okay.
