i can confirm this and to me it's a dilemma

Do I want my kids reaching as high as they can and perhaps get a B? Or do they play it safe and get the BYU A but not expand their reach?

I've never liked this about byu admissions but it's not as bad as giving a seminary teacher the influence byu does over admissions
