Arrieta's numbers wouldn't rate him as best ever. Never said that, clown. He's the best pitcher in the game RIGHT NOW. 2015. Leads all of baseball in wins. 2nd in all of baseball in ERA. 2nd in all of baseball in BAA. Top 5 in both strikeouts and WHIP. He's the only pitcher in baseball that ranks in the top 5 in all those categories.....and the only pitcher who ranks in the top 2 in the stats that matters....wins and ERA. In fact, he's the only pitcher baseball that ranks in the top 5 in both stats that matter.....and he's top 2 in both....and leading in one.

Even better, over his last 14 starts he is 11-1 with a 1.07 ERA. In the month of August he was 6-0 with 0.43 ERA. And he doesn't put up these gaudy numbers by deflating his ERA by playing in Dodger Stadium.

He's the best pitcher in baseball right now.
