Now you are discussing total innings pitched? LOLOLOL
What's next? Sheer number of strikes and balls they've thrown this season. LOL.

Arrieta MLB ranks:

Wins: No. 1
ERA: No. 2
BAA: No. 2
CG: Tied for No. 3
Shutouts: Tied for No. 1
Strikeouts: No. 4 (In the NL)

Grienke MLB ranks:

Wins: Tied for No. 5
ERA: No. 1
BAA: No. 1
CG: Tied for No.16
Shutouts: ZERO, not ranked
Strikeouts: No. 8 (In the NL)

Plus, Greinke has the huge advantage of pitching at Dodger Stadium which deflates his ERA. This is really seen in the discrepancy between his home and road ERAs. Arrieta also has been MUCH MUCH better in ALL of these categories for the past 1-2 months. Arrieta has been much more consistent at being a top pitcher across the board while Greinke has been inferior.

Jake Arrieta is the best pitcher in baseball right now.
