This is a Mormon phenomenon. Most dudes don't bring the wives.
One time that happened to my wife. She was not happy. Plus, they brought 5 little kids and the kid got a bloody nose on my bed and broke my fish tank pump. We laugh about it now, but we had a 600sf apartment and no kids of our own at the time and we are both from convert families. so we were perplexed to see this big troupe of kids come in and start running all over the place. Guess we all live and learn.
