Of course you don't, but it's like letting R rated movies into play. Some are great. I enjoyed Schindler's List, for example, and felt it worthwhile. But most R-rated movies aren't good for you and your family. The bad outweighs the good essentially. All in all, it's better to have a blanket rule against them particularly with kids involved who often have a hard time with anything that is not completely objective when it comes to family rules. And so it is with electronic games, particularly those on the PS, PC and Xbox platforms and much of the content that streams to them.
