The "We win every game with Taysom" attitude feels old.
I'm not a big fan of the obvious troll of the OP (Which is what I think it is), but I also roll my eyes at a comment that implies that a few less injuries is the difference between a 31-0 loss and a win. It's obviously a different game for BYU at that point, but Michigan plays the game differently as well. Same with UCLA (Who is probably missing more defensive starters than anyone in CFB). Same with Boise. Had BYU lost a close one to Nebraska, I'd buy that a mid-game injury to the QB makes the difference. For one game. After that, it just feels like excuses.

I get that your QB was/is important. I felt the same way when Wynn went down in the first game of the season 4-5 years ago and we had to start Jon freaking Hays at QB. Probably the worst QB in 20 years, and Utah still went 7-5 and one-win over Colorado from winning the Pac-12 South. But I never heard anyone say "If Wynn had stayed healthy and not gotten injured 11 games ago, we would have been Pac-12 South champs." But it seems like the last 3 years have seen endless discussions on the "what-ifs" of Taysom.

That said, I don't find it hard at all to be a fan of your team even after they are out of contention for whatever championship. I just enjoy watching my team play games. I was a season ticket holder to Utah during the Boylen era, if that tells you anything about my tolerance for punishment. So other than the one comment about the what-ifs of Taysom, I basically agree with your post.
