I'm sure the ref was not calculating that in his head. I think he missed the

call and if you are going strictly by the book then the flag should have been thrown and the Lions given the ball at the 6 inch line. But, the play is not reviewable to throw a flag after the review so it is what it is.

Me, as a fan that really has no dog in this fight, am OK with the no call. I see it just like an official in basketball will VERY RARELY call a foul on the last play of a game when the score is within 2 points.
