In that SPECIFIC scenario, I am OK with the call. Officials do know time/score and they will make judgement calls based on that. Is it right? Probably not, but they are human and make mistakes.

Like I said above, think of the last seconds of a close basketball game. If you don't think the officials call that last play differently, than you are really smoking something on that mountain.
