You would probably be better off trying to gain about 10 lbs of muscle over the
3-4 months then starting February cutting down the 20-25 lbs, or do it in increments. 2 months weight loss, 2 months gain, then 2 months loss. From inactive, you can probably lose weight and gain muscle, but as active as you probably are, it would be much more difficult.
