NO! As mentioned BYU can already schedule these schools
why share revenues with 13 other schools, especially when the revenues would be IMO far less than that received through independence!

IF and I mean IF BYU was forced to join a non-5 conference, I would prefer the following:

1) having twelve vs. fourteen schools to increase revenue shares. Add between USU, CSU, NIU and others as needed. They are not going anywhere

2) Select the following schools to join the conference:
WEST:
BYU
San Diego State - hope for bowl tie-in, good Olympic sports
Boise State - crap, ya bowl tie-in
Air Force -
Houston - hope for bowl tie-in
UNLV - hope for bowl tie-in, good basketball

EAST:
Memphis - crap, ya hope for bowl tie-in, good basketball
Navy
Cincinnati - good football and basketball
ECU
UCONN - good basketball
UCF - hope for bowl tie-in

I dropped USU - why increase USU's recruiting prospects of joining the better league? Plus we will play them every year regardless
Drop CSU as the conference only needs one team from Colorado and AFA carries a better brand name in football
Add UNLV over CSU trying to get the Vegas Bowl tie-in and normally a better basketball program
In the East it was close dropping either Navy and Northern Illinois. I finally dropped NIU due to Navy's tradition in football but lack of other sports and NIU just not being "sexy"
