Exactly...

Houston is a huge TV market and very fertile recruiting ground. Since A&M bolted, Houston is becoming SEC country. There were already a decent number of LSU fans in Houston and the area has always leaned heavily A&M over UT. Grabbing UH restores several annual games for B12 teams in the Houston market. Houston will likely be at the top of the B12 list when they expand.
