They are used to being the guy on their teams. Coaches blow smoke up their skirts during the recruiting process. They step on campus thinking they are the greatest thing ever, and then reality hits and they find themselves way down the depth chart on the scout team. Too many eighteen year old kids would take the easy way out and transfer rather than have the mature outlook that they need to work hard and improve.
I believe there are already processes in place to allow a transfer without having to sit out a year when extenuating circumstances can be proved. Take advantage of those rules. Don't make it easy for reality and immaturity to win out over working hard and getting better.
