It isn't lying to tell the guy how good they are, how much they want him

to be part of the team, how important he is to their program, etc. Those are the standard recruiting lines that all coaches give. But some kids hearing those things are going to be disillusioned when they finally get to campus and see that there are dozens of guys better than he is after all this time of being the best at everything.
