I suspect we will continue to do so from time to time. But, you have to admit, our recent record against P5 teams isn't stellar. We played 4 P5 teams this year and lost to all but one of them (our only win coming on a miracle play, against a very average Nebraska team).

As painful as it is for me to admit it as a lifelong cougar fan, I believe BYU will have a hard time remaining competitive going forward. The landscape of college football has shifted in a way that does not favor BYU. We're having a hard time beating teams like San Jose State, ECU, UConn and Cincy. I don't see how we can realistically expect BYU to keep pace with the power five schools.
