Agreed. USU faux pas is not letting him talk to other schools.
Maybe it wasn't you, but someone was using Aytes as a comparison to Collette. Not applicable, imo. Carlino was more similar except he was not a starter at UCLA while Collette was USU's best player.
The Collette/USU thing looks ugly but who knows?
From what i know, seems like BYU should take him if they can get him if he is not a big baby. Also think his scholarship aide was rightly revoked by USU since he didn't keep his end of the bargain. The program height thing was nothing and over blown by Collette.
The retaliation by USU not letting him talk to other schools looks absurd. Were it not for that, what the school has done looks appropriate to me.
Could be Utes coach is in trouble.
Collette won't have any trouble finding a top D-1 program to take him.
