The Utes could be in trouble but it sounds like Collette was reaching out
through contacts to other schools not just Utah. As long as the contacting was done legally USU likely does not have a case. DC will be fine. If they do find the contacting was done incorrectly and Utah was the culprit I would bet the NCAA prohibits him from competing for Utah and he moves on to another of many schools who will be after him.
I think revoking his aid for this semester is a bit vindictive but not for next semester.
