This is one of the delays. He wasn't exactly preparing for the GMAT before the

Fall season so it is all a bit of a scramble now that the MBA could happen next year. Schools are willing to work with him on application deadlines and such but he still has to meet the criteria they have for admission. This is all contributing to the delay in decision.
