I'll own it - I posted after being up five minutes and should have clarified some thing. My uncle was the associate dean of the Ross school of business and ran the executive education MBA program until this past year. He is now in the management and organizations department.
Some stuff I was obviously wrong about in my first post - I was having a conversation with him about two years ago and he told me that they only accept two students per year but I must have misunderstood him - I don't know if he was saying that they give two scholarships, or two get accepted to the doctoral program, or some specific part of the MBA program - heck, maybe he even said 200, but obviously I missed what he said. He was telling me about Bednar's kid and what a superstar he is and was making a point of how many people applied for a position that two got chosen for and Bednar's kid was one of them. I should make sure to have my morning Coke Zero before posting apparently... Sorry guys.
