correct - and because the inversions exist one would think SLC residents would be even more careful about
air pollution.

It seems strange to me that they allow one company to produce 1/3rd of all of the pollution. How is that reasonable?

If you ran a city and 1/3rd of your pollution came from one company (and you had the worst air in the country on some days) wouldn't you think it's time to have a talk with that company? Wouldn't you think it's time to change the regulations and require them to pollute less - or to at least close down on days where there is an inversion?
