your link is unpersuasive. it fails to identify how much of the pollution is from Rio Tinto and leaves open the
possibility that the trucks and buildings owned by RT are not included in the 11% number.

Certainly the data matter and the percentage of the total pollution matter - and an extensive analysis of the data would be needed before legislation is implemented. The data I linked is not my data as you suggest and I have no vested interest in supporting faulty data. I'm happy to see and analyze all sources of data on the subject

But, the point remains... Rio Tinto is a large part of the problem. Why anyone supports such a significant polluter of their air is hard for me to compute.

Utah regularly has the worst air in the country. Major companies have listed it as a negative when discussing why they wouldn't move jobs to Utah.

Bad air kills people. Certainly the inversion is a natural phenomenon - but because it exists Utahans should be ever more vigilant in ensuring their air is clean.
