you can find tapes online of his full games at NH Prep school where he was a brilliant pass first PG. i watched two full games. Three teammates got big time D-1 scholarships because Elijah set them up to score and 100% led that elite team.
He became a shoot first only last year at Elon, whether because that is what the team needed or because he saw that scoring was the path to a big time program, or both.
KC is the wrong comparison for Bryant, imo. They are both big strong PGs who play pretty hard at both ends of the court but that is about where it ends.
Bryant is good at getting to the rim but he is no KC in that regard at this point. He has decent quickness but Collinsworth's unrecognized quickness is superior and KC plays somewhat more above the rim.
On the plus side for Elijah, he has a good 3 point shot and most importantly, is a great leader of men.
The better comparison for Bryant might be Matthew Dellavedova. Bryant is a little quicker than Delly and gets to the rim better. Too early for me to see if he plays the kind of relentless defense that Delly plays.
Wouldn't suggest he will be a stronger force than any of the LP trio, but i would suggest he is in their class.
