So a lawyer advocating to protect....
His professions profit center is somehow more credible than an insurance company or other "big business" doing the same?

And please pray tell how it is anyone's fault that some old dude got out of bed in the middle of the night and fell down? Sounds to me like an accident, no ones at fault. Ridiculous to say the va should have been buying "sensors" to detect him getting up. Maybe we should just not have the va at all so that guys like you can't sue them and line your pockets from his tragic circumstance. And would the family have sued themselves if they didn't buy "sensors" and he'd fallen at home similarly? Of course not, they'd neither sue nor buy those sensors to begin with. Instead they pawned his care off on the government then sued and lined their pockets over a ridiculous premise, I'm sure if they'd had those sensors some slick shyster like yourself would have dreamt up some other reason they were at fault. Maybe the American tax payer should have been paying to have a care giver sitting by his side 24/7 so that we can be assured he won't fall down?

I understand you lawyers are not trained to think in terms of 'right and wrong', your training is purely based on 'do they have a case' and the right and wrong of it has no bearing on your outlook, but this kind of crap is ridiculous. No one can be protected 24/7 and no one should be responsible to see that they are. Life is full of mishaps and almost none of them are worthy of you getting rich over.
