One time I had to take both of my daughters to the doc at the same time. He was seeing my oldest and the nurse practitioner was seeing the youngest. My youngest wanted me to stay with her. The doc made sure that a medical assistant was in the room and observing while he was with my oldest daughter. It made me feel way more comfortable about it and saves the doc from the liability of accusations against him. Win-win.
