for various reasons, but there absolutely should be protections in place, and yeah it seems weird that this office doesn't seem to know how to do that. Asking for a window to view or a video recording is perfectly reasonable.

Lots of therapists use play therapy without being an MFT. I do like play therapy as a practice for child anxiety issues.
