I'm not about playing the blame game and trying to pin the world's problems on one generation or another. I think that's unproductive and pointless.

I think one of the reasons why this bothers me so much is that Millennials grow up hearing about how their generation is full of mindless texting air heads, who never move out of their parents basement. After a while those things really start to affect people and it becomes easy to slip into those stereotypes, because that's what everyone expects anyway. I'm a Millennial and I've been surrounded by peers that are highly motivated and are nothing at all like these ridiculous stereotypes that have unfortunately become so prevalent.
