At 1/3 the cost, to a facility that is used 90% more often.
They have devotionals every Tuesday, hold priesthood session viewings, basketball games, and tons of other events. LES screens offered would have been way more expensive, to be used for 6 home games, stadium of fire (where only one is used), and possibly a handful of other things. There was a big difference. Not to mention, my uncle complains that they even scrimped on the Marriott center screens and that they are a nightmare to work, and have constantly been needing tweaking.
