My family regularly schedules travel on Sunday on purpose
We do it to be able to travel to a BYU game or family vacation and still get home in time for work/school. We have a family reunion coming up in a few weeks, for example, where we're staying until Sunday to maximize the vacation time with family.
I think there are some who care enough about Sabbath observance to avoid the activity I described above, my family is not among them
